I've Always
Been Driven to
Excel
I grew up in The Bronx, NYC, in a culture where success was measured by how much you sacrificed—and your worth was tied to the money you earned. Watching my mother, a single mom raising three girls, work tirelessly to make ends meet, I internalized those beliefs early on. To make her proud, I pushed myself to excel, earning straight A’s, taking extra college-level courses, and starting work at 14 to support myself.
My Drive Has Taken Me Far In My Career
ranked as a top recruiter
Ranked #3 in North America within my company’s pharma industry Recruiting team in 2021 by doubling the average output in closing hard-to-fill requisitions within 6 months.
Excelled Under Pressure
Earned my M.S. in Human Resources Development while working a demanding 50-hour-per-week project management role and giving birth to both of my children—maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout.
Advanced Pay Equity Initiatives
Supported countless women in securing high-value offers with 20%-50% salary increases throughout my corporate HR career.
Championed Diversity In Hiring
Designed and implemented a strategy that increased underrepresented talent hiring by 20% in just one year.
I Went Through A Devastating Divorce
It turned my world upside down. My now ex-husband was incredibly successful, working on Wall Street, and I constantly felt pressured to match his achievements. No matter how hard I worked, I never felt like I was enough. While navigating the emotional weight of a broken marriage, I poured everything into my career, but the pressure to succeed left me feeling lost and unsure of who I was outside of work and home.
To make matters worse, resentment was building. I was always the first in the office and the last to leave, pouring everything into my work—yet it never felt like enough. I realized I wasn’t being paid what I was worth, and the constant grind was leaving me drained and unfulfilled.
Things spiraled to the point where I couldn’t get out of bed for weeks.

This breakdown + breakthrough
made me realize a
hard truth:
My drive for success was rooted
in a need to get validation
from those around me.

Your worth
isn't
measured by work or money
Worth isn’t something earned; it’s something recognized BY YOU and embodied. Building a sustainable and aligned career isn’t just about crafting the perfect resume, acing interviews, or staying late at the office—it’s about unlearning the beliefs instilled in you during childhood and redefining success on your own terms.
